Hi, I’m Sam. Sydneysider, Wife, Mum of 2. Originally from the East Coast of the USA, I met my Aussie husband in San Francisco and we made the move to Sydney shortly after. My passion for photography ignited in childhood as I spent countless hours exploring my grandmother’s cherished yearly family photo albums, one for every year dating back to 1953.

I loved looking back on all the antics and adventures my family got up to, and was determined to preserve my own family’s memories in the same way that my grandmother did.

I realised the joy that capturing these special moments brought me and those around me, and wanted to share that joy with others. I launched A Sage Lens in 2024, with the hopes of delivering to others what I treasure; preserving fleeting moments in time through photography, ensuring they remain cherished memories for years to come.
